Senior Pastor Darryl Jones
Pastor Darryl is a passionate horseman and dedicated servant of God. Combining his love for horses with his strong faith in God, he uses these majestic creatures in his PATHWAY TO PURPOSE Ministry to draw people closer to Christ. As Church Elder, Ministry Director, and Senior Associate Pastor at Detroit World Outreach (DWO), Pastor Darryl played a pivotal role in the church's growth and spiritual well-being.
Beyond ministry, Pastor Darryl holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Drexel University and has a successful professional background. He has worked for renowned companies like Xerox, Ford, and Fiat-Chrysler. Additionally, he is a licensed realtor, certified mediator, and currently serves as a Program Coordinator for Southeastern Michigan’s Senior Regional Collaborative.
Pastor Darryl is a beloved figure within DWO, CCFAN, WOF, FBC Delair, St John’s BC Pennsauken, and now HFTNCC. He often shares his life’s experiences in a funny and lighthearted way that helps others create their own unique relationship with God. Executive Pastor Mark King
Pastor Mark gained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lawrence Technological University. After stints in business and politics, he felt God leading him to his first love...the ministry of the Gospel. He has been at Healing For The Nations since 1988, first as business administrator, then as an ordained minister of the Gospel.
Currently, Mark is Worship leader at HFTNCC. He has written over 30 songs and has recorded one cd of his music. God has allowed Mark to use his gift of Leading Worship to minister throughout the state of Michigan and beyond through the years. He is the proud father of two, Ethan and Alia.
Kathleen has been involved with Healing For The Nations since she was a teen ager...working primarily with children, as a teacher. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a double degree in psychology and sociology, God has used her gifts throughout the years in organizing and running our Vacation Bible School, Easter Egg Hunts and Fall Fest parties, with wonderful results. Now, God has placed Kathleen as our Church Adminstrator and in charge of our Children's Ministry, which will restart in the spring. She has been married to Corey for over 30 years and is the proud mother of 2 sons, Connor and Carter.
Pastor Bob Knapp
Rev. Robert Knapp is the head of our Outreach Ministry. He is an ordained Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains and a retired Hospice Chaplain. He also has a bachelor degree in
counseling. He enjoys being with people and teaching the Word of God. His heart for people and to reach the lost guides his life and ministry as HFTNCC continues to share God's Goodness through this hurting world. He is the proud father of 3 children and 15 grandchildren.
Elder John Sergus
John, along with his lovely wife of 52 years, Barbara, have been serving HFTNCC for 40 years. He worked at Detroit Bank and Trust, General Motors, EDS, and Hewlet Packer. Currently retired, he uses his wisdom, and business acuity as a member of our Elder's Board and also as our head of our Helps Ministry. he is the proud father of one and grandfather of three.
