Trusting completely in what Jesus has done to save you through His life, death and resurrection.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
3. Receiving Jesus
Allowing the work of Jesus to transform your life from the inside out.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12
Responding to the Gospel is a personal journey of faith, which begins with a sincere conversation with God inviting Jesus into our lives. Here’s a guide to help you in this significant step:
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned against You.
I turn from my sin right now.
I believe that You died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins.
I receive You as the Lord and Savior of my life. I give my life to You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
If you have sincerely turned away from your sin, put your faith in Christ, and called on His name to save you, then, according to the Bible, you’re a Christian!
