“Living as My Bible Says”

Toddler/Preschool Room

The objective in our toddler/preschool room is to provide a safe, secure, loving environment for children to participate in.  Where parents feel comfortable leaving their child and to help children feel a warm sense of belonging to their church family.  We want the children to always feel welcome & wanted. Our goal is for each child to know that God is real and they can have a personal relationship with Him. We provide godly men & women who are adequately trained to serve as positive role models while they minister with children.  If you have a love for young children and wish to share the love of Jesus with them...our L.A.M.B.S. ministry could be for you!

“Students With A Testimony”

Children/Youth Ministry

Our Children/Youth Ministry strives to create an atmosphere where the children can experience the Lord through Bible teaching, worship and prayer.  Our goal is to practically equip the children of our church to become a functional part of the church body.  We want them to hear from the Lord, be led by the Holy Spirit and be grounded in the Word.  We also want them to release their gifts, callings and destinies.   Now is the time to plant seeds in their hearts that will grow deep roots to weather the storms and temptations of the world.  To help turn their hearts toward the ONLY one that can supply all their needs.  If you have a heart for ministering to our children and youth, now is the time to join our S.W.A.T. team!

Usher Ministry

Are you looking to lovingly serve our church family?  Our Ushers are responsible for maintaining the smooth order of our service.  It’s a great way to meet your church family by assisting and serving on a regular basis.  We also assist the Pastor, Assistant Pastor and visitors.  If you are patient, humble and have a positive attitude with a passion to serve others than we would love to have you join the Ushers’ Ministry.

Music Ministry
Praise & worship is more than the preliminary to preaching.  It is not a performance or a showcase of musical talent and much more than a pretty song.  It is our responsibility to lead God’s people into His manifested presence.   We believe the tangible presence of Almighty God will fill the sanctuary resulting in changed, transformed and renewed lives.  We have an awesome responsibility.  We depend on the anointing of the Holy Spirit for every note we play. When the Body of Christ begins to worship & praise in one accord, the Lord can move in a mighty way.  The focus of this ministry is God Himself-to build a worship team that has one desire-to worship God & bring the glory to Him. If you feel that you are blessed with the ability to sing or play an instrument,  we want you to help us continue to expand & grow!  Join us as we witness His touch & change the lives of those whom we minister to.

Intercessory Prayer
Our church Intercessory Prayer ministry  meets for prayer on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, and Thursday mornings at 10:00 AM.  All are always welcome to join us to pray.

Greeters
Greeting is more than just a handshake and a smile.  We are the first faces people see when they come to worship.  We want visitors and members to know we greatly appreciate them deciding to fellowship with us.  As a Greeter we are given the opportunity to express God’s love through Christ and help set the tone for the upcoming worship service.  We want people to know that they are welcome and to always feel at home.  If you are friendly, energetic, outgoing and would love to be the welcoming smile that greets all who come to visit Healing for the Nations, we would love to have you join our Greeter’s Ministry.

Hospitality
Hospitality Ministry has many ways to share God’s Goodness…Sunday Fellowship (following service) helps provide a light snack as we greet our visitors and church family.  Let’s take this opportunity to uplift, encourage and pray for one another.
Or once a month you can show off your culinary skills by bringing in your favorite dish to share at our “Sunday Supper”.  You can also be a part of our growing “Neighborhood Outreach” as we prepare food and beverages for special events; Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Christmas Celebration.  As a part of the ministry we may be called upon to help provide meals to a member of the church family or help in a special event as a fund raiser.  The possibilities are endless.  Please pray about this vital ministry as we prepare to grow in the direction the Holy Spirit leads.   Hospitality starts with a warm heart and busy hands!

Bookstore
The bookstore Ministry provides items suitable for gifts or personal enrichment for all ages.  Books by Pastor Clarence King and Rev. Barbara King are available for purchase as well.  Recordings of Sunday and Wednesday service messages may be ordered.  The Bookstore is open before and after all regular services.  Our bookstore strives to provide excellent  customer service.

Outreach
We believe in the importance of reaching out to our  community and the world, sharing the message of  salvation through Jesus...and sharing the love of Christ with others. Maybe you first heard of Healing For The Nations through our Egg Hunt, or Fall Fest, or Christmas party. We look forward to many more  community events in the future.
We also visit St. Mary’s Nursing Home in St. Clair Shores every month.  We share some songs and communion with the wonderful residents there.
We work closely with Peace Makers International Ministry in Detroit, MI.  They provide help and love to those needy and dependent on drugs and alcohol in the inner city.  We provide food and clothing as well as ministry help at their various outreach events.  We are honored to partner with this worthy ministry.
One of our new outreaches is our monthly Community Meal. This free meal gives us the chance every month to share the love of Christ, as well as a wonderful dinner, on the fourth Friday of every month.
We look forward to many more ways of reaching our community with the love of Jesus!
