Who We Are
Healing For The Nations Christian Church is an independent Pentecostal church begun in June of 1980. The founding pastor, Rev. Clarence King had accepted Christ through the Catholic Charismatic movement of the 1970's. He spent several years as a traveling evangelist throughout the midwest. It was during this period that the Lord worked several miracles through the ministry of Rev. King, including the healing of a six year old girl from rheumatoid arthritis. In gratitude to Jesus for the healing of his little girl, her father erected a cross in his front yard, from which he hung her crutches - this became the inspiration for the ministry logo...which you can see on this page and in our sanctuary.
Sensing the direction of the Lord to begin a new church, Rev. King started Healing for the Nations Fellowship in St. Clair Shores, Michigan in 1980. Meeting in rented facilites, the church grew quickly. In 1983, property was purchased in Roseville for a permanent home for the church, and on April 3rd, 1987 the sanctuary was officially dedicated. The name of the church was changed to Healing For The Nations Christian Church in 1988.
In February of 2013, Healing For The Nations Christian Church moved to it's current location in Eastpointe. We are excited about what God has in store for us in the future!
